Mary McCormack was an American actress, best known for her portrayals as the protagonist in TV series such as "Murder One", "The West Wing", "In Plain Sight" and Loaded. Additionally, she is known for her roles in films, she has appeared in "Private Parts", "Deep Impact", "True Crime" and 1408. McCormack has a father who is a medical psychologist, as well as the proprietor of an ice cream store. Her family is a family that is not entertainment-based. McCormack was a student at Wardlaw-Hartridge School and, following her parents' divorce in the year 1990, she enrolled to Trinity College in Hartford in Connecticut.
